WELCOME TO THE POWER OF WOMEN TV
POW TV is on a mission to change the status quo around the world for women in film and television.
We are a multi-award winning, critically-acclaimed female led production company, conceiving, creating and building end-to-end visual experiences.
As one of the world’s leaders in pioneering entertainment featuring women at its centre. We create trail-blazing multi-platform shows for international audiences to inspire and empower, including critically-acclaimed documentaries, TV series and much more.
POW TV gives access to amazing stories of real-life tales, to inspire and educate. Likewise, we are passionate about diversity and equality in the entertainment industry, and we are dedicated to expanding our efforts to champion and support more women in productions to create a lasting impact.
Although a women run production house, POW TV of course doesn’t exclude men. We are the first studio among the 8% of women to get work commissioned by a broadcaster.
We desire to form a pulsating network that facilitates mentoring, knowledge and education resulting in women fulfilling their full potential.

ROSEMARY REED
Director, Producer & Co-Founder of POW TV
Rosemary's work as a Director and Producer has been critically acclaimed across main terrestrial TV.
Her wide range of broadcast productions include over 100 critically acclaimed shows. Through her knowledge of the industry and the huge breadth of connections she has made throughout my career, Rosemary has personally cast all the talent involved in each of these productions.
These include:
Directing and co-producing three seasons of the highly successful and and much-admired Sky Series ‘Living the Life’ with international legends such as Hanz Zimmer, Elliot Gould, Anthony Hopkins, Sir John Hurt, Alan Parker and Robin Gibb.
Working alongside Leslie Phillips CBE to co-direct and produce the story of his life in Hello: A Portrait of Leslie Phillips.
Sky’s ‘The Power of Women’, revealing an empowering conversation between 2 of the most powerful women in the world hearing their trials and tribulations on their road to success, including the likes of pioneers such as Jane Goodall, Gloria Allred, Joanna Lumley, Twiggy and Mary Quant.
The much celebrated documentary series Driving Force consists of 2 seasons and 18 episodes, with Season One airing on Sky Sports and Sky Documentaries and Season 2 recently featuring on ITV1, ITV4 and ITV Hub, bringing to light the raw and real stories behind the world’s biggest female sports stars, hosted and led by Judy Murray OBE.
The Driving Force Team followed up the overwhelming reception of the programme with the Driving Force UK Schools Tour. Rosemary and the host of the series Judy Murray, visited girls in various schools across the UK sharing their experience of making the series. The students had the opportunities to meet DF contributors, engage in Q&As and also communicate with a variety of experts in different fields of sports, sharing advice on how to enter the vast amount of careers that are associated with the sporting world that are available to young women.
In the earlier days of her career, Rosemary was an agent registered with the PMA, representing leading actors, musicians and sports stars. She has previously worked as an events organiser of VIP Premium Events, as well as a multitude of charity fundraisers and functions.
In the 1990s, Rosemary set up a Domestic Violence One Stop Centre, the first of its kind in Central London, offering women and children free legal advice, counselling and assistance with referrals to refuges. Her and her team worked alongside the Met Police, domestic violence units and social services, as well as working very closely with Women’s Aid. This is a topic Rosemary has spoken about in talks across the country, sharing her experience of being at the front line of social issues such as this. Being a significant part of her life, this experience has driven her intensely and founded her constant drive to represent and support women’s equality.
Many editorials have been written about Rosemary’s work. Most recently, she was featured in 'The Female Lead’s newest book "Women Who Shape Our World" alongside the showcasing of the achievements of numerous other resilient women who continue to break ground and inspire the next generation of women.
Rosemary's work invites women to discover a world where they are first, and she significantly believes in challenging the status quo and changing the way women think about themselves. Rosemary has personally interviewed many of the most successful women in the world from a diverse range of industries.
Her determination and her strong faith drives her to make a difference for women’s rights, as well as planetary and animal issues.
Her sole purpose is to positively support, represent, celebrate and encourage all women in film and television.
Recognising the lack of female directors employed in the global film and tv industry, and her own experience of getting her work commissioned against the odds in a male dominated industry, it’s her goal to be one of the women leading the way to fix this issue, inspiring and motivating the next generation of female directors to see that their dreams and aspirations can become a reality.
Rosemary is always open to speaking on panels, conferences and events, as well as offering mentoring to individuals in need of support and advice within this industry for which she feels very strongly about.
POW TV is constantly evolving with her at the helm; she is taking the studio further onto the global stage in the future. Covering a wide range of genres, with an interest in female focused truthful and raw life stories, leading the way for many exciting, powerful new shows.
